SACRAMENTS
Registration + Requirements
This is the year your child will prepare to experience God’s love and forgiveness through the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and to receive Jesus in the Sacrament of the Eucharist. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is the first step in this sacramental journey. Your child must be 7 years old and catechized to grade level.
In addition to being enrolled in Faith Formation Classes or a Catholic School, your child must be registered to receive the Sacrament. The information asked is what we need to have in order to record the sacrament and to contact you with information regarding these sacraments.

Preparations for the Sacrament of Holy Communion
Preparation for the Sacrament is taught primarily by the Parents/Guardians. Parents/Guardians are required to participate in the sacramental classes offered in order to prepare their child(ren) for Holy Communion (Eucharist) and 1st Reconciliation. Roughly 6 hours of classes are required in total for parents. You will attend a total of 4 sessions. Although the parents are ultimately responsible for their child’s preparation, there will be a strong emphasis in their classroom as well.
