The Sacrament of Reconciliation

Also known as the sacrament of penance; the sacrament in the Roman Catholic Church whereby a person’s sins
are absolved through confession and penance.
Private confessions can be arranged by contacting the parish priests through the Parish Office at 303-841-3750, as needed.
First Reconciliation

Children must be 7 years old, and in 2nd grade catechized to grade level. Children must be enrolled in Faith Formation classes or Catholic School prior to the year of the sacrament.

Parents will also be required to attend Parent Preps for these sacraments. More information about this will be communicated in August.

In addition to being enrolled in Faith Formation Classes or a Catholic School, your child must be registered to receive the Sacrament. The information asked is what we need to have in order to record the sacrament and to contact you with information regarding these sacraments. To register click the button below:
*please note you need only to fill out this form once to be registered for both 1st Reconciliation & 1st Communion*

*If your child is not baptized or has not participated in Catholic Religious Education, please refer to the Rite of Christian Initiation.
Registration for First Sacraments will take place the fall.   A copy of baptism certificate will be required at that time.

Preparation for the Sacrament of Reconciliation is taught primarily by the Parents/Guardians.  Parents/Guardians are required to participate in the sacramental classes offered in order to prepare their child(ren) for Reconciliation (Confession/Penance).  Although the parents are ultimately responsible for their child’s preparation, there will be a strong emphasis in their classroom, as well.

To register for the Sacraments of Reconciliation/First Holy Communion, please reach out to [email protected]
