Registration + Requirements
This is the year your child will prepare to experience God’s love and the power of the Holy Spirit through Confirmation. A student receiving Confirmation must be in at least 8th grade and be catechized to grade level. This means children must be enrolled in Faith Formation class or Catholic school at least one full year prior to the year of the sacraments.
In addition to being enrolled in Faith Formation Classes or a Catholic School, your child must be registered to receive the Sacrament. The information asked is what we need to have in order to record the sacrament and to contact you with information regarding these sacraments.

Preparations for the Sacrament of Confirmation
Preparation for the Sacrament is taught primarily by the Parents/Guardians. Parents/Guardians are required to participate in the sacramental classes offered in order to prepare their child(ren) for Confirmation. 6 hours of classes (completed in two 3 hour sessions) are required for each sacrament. Although the parents are ultimately responsible for their child’s preparation, there will be a strong emphasis in their classroom as well.
