Sacramental, Devotional and Prayer Life
Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration is the adoration of Jesus Christ present in the Holy Eucharist. At Ave Maria Catholic Church, the Eucharist is displayed in a special holder called a monstrance, and people come to pray and worship Jesus continually throughout the day and night. Currently, Eucharistic Adoration is not allowed during Mass times due to our adoration chapel being within the church. Jesus died on the cross for our sins and to give us eternal life. He offers himself to us in the sacrament of the Eucharist. Perpetual Adoration gives us the opportunity to love and adore Christ in return. Adorers are asked to commit to one hour of adoration per week for at least one year.
