Director of Communications
The Catholic Benefits Association (CBA) is seeking a Director of Communications to join its team. This full-time, on-site position will be based in the Castle Rock, CO area.
CBA is a Catholic employer association that defends First Amendment rights on behalf of its members. Additionally, CBA provides Catholic-informed consultative services that support members in areas of law, ethics, human resources, healthcare benefits, and professional development.
The Director of Communications will execute a strategic communication plan aligned with organizational goals.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Work with CBA team members to ensure integrated communication efforts.
- Create press releases, original content, segmented communications, marketing materials, and other external messaging through various platforms.
- Maintain strong relationships with key business partners to include member leaders, their staff, Church leaders, and others.
- Manage the communication contact database, performing regular review and updates.
- Oversee webpage and website content creation, working closely with outside vendors.
Qualifications
- Experience in communications, public relations, and implementation of communication strategies, with experience working in a Catholic, nonprofit or faith-based organization strongly preferred.
- In support of CBA’s ministerial mission, the person who accepts this role must be a practicing Catholic with a well-formed understanding of and commitment to Church teachings and who exemplifies the best of the Catholic faith in both their professional and personal life, with a strong ability to effectively communicate and promote Catholic teachings.
- Must demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Commitment to work collaboratively with the CBA team, with a dedication to excellence.
- Project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
